Worship only one God, Allah

Since the creation of Adam, Allah opened the Doors of His kindness to man, bestowed wisdom and intelligence on him so as to enable him to take advantage of the blessings of Allah and ordered that “I have decorated the skys, the earth and the oceans with My innumerable blessings. Derive benefits from them and praise My Divinity and Oneness. Glorify My attributes; Commands will be revealed for your guidance. My Prophets will come and lead practical lives to demonstrate and guide you to overcome difficulties which arise from the ups and downs of life.” If you follow My Prophets and obey them then you will be successful in this world and deserve special rewards in the life Hereafter. But remember! if you disobey my instructions then as a punishment you will be deprived of these blessings and you will be ruled by the tyrants and you will be thrown into Hell forever in futurity (Life Hereafter).”

With the lapse of time history took its own shape. Prophets of Allah came one after the other and taught the lessons of Divinity and Oneness of God. The light of the unique and unparallel Divine Knowledge was blessed to remove all ingnorance and darkness. But alas! the short-sighted and thankless man forgot the Real Creator and instead inclined todecorate this perishable world and to please his self-made Gods. When Allah took away Prophet Jesus (P.B.U.H.) from this world then the scholars of Christianity changed the Bible and gave it wrong interpretation. They made these alterations to suit their convenience and will. It reached such a stage that people gave Jesus (P.B.U.H.) the status of a small god—son of God. Moreover, they (scholars of Christianity) convinced their common people that God was incarnated into Jesus (P.B.U.H.) son of Mary (P.B.U.H.) which means that God Himself came to the world in the form of Jesus.(P.B.U.H.) The Christians have got faith in this self-made doctrine of their scholars and took Jesus (P.B.U.H.) as the son of God.When Hadhrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H.)(SAWS) invited Jews to Islam, in response, they sent a delegation to the Holy Prophet who said, “You have left our Qibla and do not accept Ezra as the son of God also.How can we follow you?” Then Allah, in order to disclose the wrong faiths of the Jews and the Christians and to warn the Muslims that they may not be influenced by those scholars who do wrong interpretation of the Qur’ân–the clear and plain and may not be misled from the path of the Oneness of Allah after after having been influenced by the scholars and the religious leaders of the Jews and the Christians,revealed the following Versed of the Qur’ân.

And the Jews say Ezra is the son of Allah,

And the Christian say, Messiah is the son of Allah;

That is what they say from their mouths.

They but only imitate the saying of those who disbelieve before them.

Ramadan Story: THE MYSTERIOUS HELPING HANDS!

Iram, and her brother, Ahmed, were excited about the upcoming days. It was Ramadan, a time to learn appreciation for the things they had, and to think of others who didn’t have as much. They had both been saving their money all year long. Iram, who was seven years old, sat on her bed and dumped out her money Jar. Coins ran all over the blanket. “This is a lot of money. Momma says we are supposed to help someone. She wants us to think about how much we have and then think of someone who doesn’t have very much, and do something nice for them,” Iram said, gathering the money into a pile. “Dump out your Jar, Ahmed,” she told her brother.The coins came spilling out of his Jar onto the bed. “Wow! We can do a lot for someone with all this money,” Ahmed said, smiling. “This is such a special time of year. I’m glad we can help others.”

“But we have to do it secretly, Ahmed, remember. We have to pick someone and do something very nice without them knowing it is from us. Who should we pick?” Iram asked.

“Let’s pick our neighbors, Rashid, and Fatima. I noticed that they had holes in their shoes,” Ahmed said.

“That’s a good idea. We could buy some new shoes for them. They aren’t as blessed as we are. We have a lot of shoes, don’t we?” Iram asked with appreciation.

“I have three pair. You have more. Let’s buy some new shoes for them this Ramadan,” Ahmed said, smiling.

Iram and Ahmed found their momma. She was busy washing some dates. She saw her children come into the kitchen. “I’m going to make some baklawa for tonight,” she said, knowing her family loved to eat that during Ramadan.

“Poppa is at the mosque, in prayer. When he comes home, after the sun sets, we’ll have some. In the meantime, you two look like you’ve got something on your minds.”

“We want to help the poor. Ahmed and I have been saving our money all year long and we want to help Rashid and Fatima, our neighbors,” Iram began.

Ahmed, with excitement, interrupted, “We want to buy them some shoes.”

Momma smiled at her beautiful children. She was so proud of them.

“Aren’t you hungry, Momma?” Ahmed asked. He knew she had not had anything to eat or drink
since dawn that morning due to Ramadan fasting.

“I’m a little bit, but that is good for me. Don’t worry about me. When you’re older, you’ll understand more and be able to fast too,” she explained. “Would you like me to take you to the store to buy the shoes?” she asked.

“Would you, Momma? Is that all right?” Iram begged.

“Why of course. Let’s go,” she said.

They walked to the shoe store and went inside. Iram picked out a pair of shoes for Fatima. Ahmed picked out a pair for Rashid. They were both so proud that they’d saved their money so they could do this to help. Later, they went home and wrapped the shoe boxes in plain brown paper. They waited anxiously for night to come. It would be dark and they could deliver their gifts.

The sun began to drop behind the horizon. A little while later, Poppa came home. He and Momma had some lentil soup, then tomato and cucumber sandwiches. Momma called to her children, “Iram. Ahmed. Come and have some baklawa, and some fresh dates.” The children came running into the kitchen. Momma cut them a big piece.

They gobbled it down quickly as they were anxious to do their good deed. “Slow down, children,” Poppa urged, laughing.

It was soon dark outside. Momma had the children go and get the boxes they’d wrapped so carefully. They put their coats on and walked quietly over to Rashid and Fatima’s house. Momma whispered, “All right, children. We must be very quiet and very fast. Ahmed, you knock on the door and then run over here, to this bush, where Iram and I will be hiding. We’ll watch as they come and find their gifts.”

Iram and Ahmed giggled with delight. Iram and Momma hid, and Ahmed tiptoed up to the door. He put both of the boxes down on the porch, and knocked hard. Then he ran, and ran, and ran, as fast as he could, to where Iram and Momma were. “Shhh,” Momma whispered. “Someone opened the door.”

They watched as Rashid and Fatima came out onto the porch. “Look! There are presents for us. Someone left them here,” Rashid cried out with excitement. He and Fatima looked around. It was very dark and they couldn’t see anyone. They picked up the boxes and took them inside.

After a minute or two, waiting to make sure they wouldn’t be seen, Momma, Ahmed, and Iram, snuck quietly back to their house. Ahmed started laughing. “Poppa! Poppa! We did it! We snuck up and left the presents!”

Iram added, “They didn’t see us, Poppa. They don’t know it was us.” She was laughing too.

Momma and Poppa stood back and looked at their children. They were so proud of them. They knew their children knew the real meaning of giving and of sacrifice. The next morning, as Momma, Poppa, Iram, and Ahmed went to their car to drive into town, they saw Rashid and Fatima outside playing. They were both wearing their brand new shoes. Nobody said a thing. Iram and Ahmed just smiled, because it is one of the best Ramadan for them.

Islamic Stories with Morals: WHO WIN GOOD OR EVIL?

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two (2) wolves inside us all.”

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Islamic Morality: THE PRICE OF IMAAN

Several years ago an Imaam moved to London. He often took the bus from his home to the downtown area. Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the same bus. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him twenty pence too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, ‘you better give the twenty pence back. It would be wrong to keep it’.

Then he thought, ‘oh forget it, it’s only twenty pence. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company already gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a gift from Almighty Allah and keep quiet’.

When his stop came, the Imaam paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the twenty pence back to the driver and said:

“Here, you gave me too much change.”

The driver with a smile replied:

“Aren’t you the new Imaam in this area? I have been thinking lately about going to worship at your mosque. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change.”

When the Imaam stepped off the bus, his knees became weak and soft. He had to grab the nearest light pole and held for support, and looked up to the heavens and cried:

“Oh Allah, I almost sold Islam for twenty pence!”

Bottom-line: We may never see the impact our actions have on people… Sometimes we are the only knowledge of the Quran someone will read, or the only Islam a non-Muslim will see. What we need to provide, Insha Allah is an example for others to see. Be careful and be honest everyday, because you never know who is watching your actions.

O Allah! I entrust You with what I have read and I have studied. O Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. O Allah! You do whatever You wish, and You are my Availed and Protector, and the best of aid. O Allah! Keep us far away from bidah of any sort and all types of shirk, make us of those who bow down and fully submit to you and cause us to die as Muslims…..Ameen

The torrential rainfall hits costal area of Sindh Pakistan

Karachi: Almost all parts of Pakistan’s southern Sindh province have been receiving heavy rain showers for the last week. The rain has severely disrupted the routine life of the coastal belt of Sindh; Karachi, Thatta and Badin.

The disruption range from prolonged electricity breakdowns increased the deteriorated condition of already ravaged roads and streets of the Karachi. On the whole, nonetheless, the rain has become source of happiness by bringing the agreeable weather, it has equally added to the worries of common citizen.

Losses:

This is what the city of Karachi is always expected to suffer after such showers, but what needs more and prompt attention is the awful disruption suffered by the poor coastal communities of Karachi. In other words the worst sufferers of the Karachi population, in the backdrop of the rain, are the people of Gabo Pat UC-8 and Mari Pur UC-6 of the kiamari Town.
The villages of these UCs include Mari Pur, Sher Mohammad, Singho, Abdullah, Haji Ali, Mubarak Ghoth and Tikri village, Chashma Ghoth, Rehri Goth, Dabla Mohalla, Pun Mohallh and Sache Dina Muhalla

These villages are always at the risk of sea-water-intrusions. Due to rain-water pressure the Mubarak Singho Dam has broke out and inundated the villages. It can safely be argued that if the rainfall continues the sea will intrude into the settlement areas. The recent rainfall, (which is still on), has severely disrupted the routine life of the people of theses villages besides damaging the almost eighteen houses of the coastline, ten of theses houses are situated in the Tikri villages while remaining all houses are at the same risk. The inundation of the houses of the villages is the major threat to their life and property, that is, the walls of theses mud-and-straws-made houses, (few of them are cemented), are extremely venerable to the erosion and ultimame plunging down.
The men, women and children are busy putting the rain water out of their houses, even the do not bother to sleep at nights. The men are not going for work because they realize the fact that their houses are dangerously susceptible to erosion therefore they had better stay at their respective homes. (Needless to say that the fishing activity is quite impossible during the rainfalls). The risk of damage caused to property and life by sudden fall of a house is further augmented by the electrical wires………
